‘Screaming Bloody Murder’ is an editorial series created for the first issue of Mastermind Magazine, commissioned by founder and editor Marie-Amélie Sauvé. Shot in a curiously atmospheric 1950s mansion in Belgium with photographers Scheltens & Abbenes, Barbara Berends built a series of sets that tell their stories entirely through absence.
