‘Welcome to the Circus’ was a fashion editorial published in Vogue Portugal in 2019, photographed by Domen Van de Velde. The shoot was an uncommiddioned project, growing out of a prior collaboration for an Essentiel Antwerp campaign. Barbara Berends helped develop a concept for the set design and added a layer of visual storytelling through bespoke props.
