
Over five years, Barbara Berends collaborated with Studio Bakker on Arper’s presence at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan and Orgatec in Cologne, as well as print campaigns, working alongside design partners 2×4 NY, Lievore + Altherr Désile Park and MAIO.
The brief was to expand and elevate the Italian furniture brand’s identity through a visual language of simplicity and quiet precision. At a fair the scale of the Salone, the challenge was to create spaces that suggested real life without tipping into the obvious and domestic.
The project was widely acclaimed.
